A DAY OF CULTURE: PART 2: THE VILLAGE MUSEUM

“The Village Museum is an open-air ethnographic museum located in the Herastrau Park, showcasing traditional Romanian village life. The museum contains 272 authentic peasant farms and houses from all over Romania.”

Sunday i went to see it for the first time.

I think that any “BucharestER” should visit this museum( I “waited” 24 years). But i’m happy i saw it now because in the past i wasn’t ready to enjoy the simple things.

The houses there, were beautiful, you will laught but i want one like that in a quiet mountain village, the yards were amazing and the gates were craved or worked up in the smallest detail.

If you find a way to Bucharest, visit The Village Museum !
